About 300 Someiyoshino cehrry blossom trees bloom in the area, making it a great cherry blossom viewing area in central Hiroshima for the locals to gather.
It is a 14-story tower that opened on the east side of Genbaku Domu.
From the observation deck, you can see central Hiroshima including Genbaku Domu and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and as far away as Miyajima. This is a spot hoursing a souvenir shop selling regional specialty items of Hiroshima and a cafe.
Get off at “Hacchobori” bus stop, then walk for 10 minutes.
Alternatively, after getting off at the “Hacchobori” bus stop, take Hiroshima Dentetsu “Hacchobori Line” and get off at “Shukkei-en Mae,” then walk for 2 minutes.
A garden designed for taking walks, with a beautiful character in each season, it was created for a second home of a feudal lord of Hiroshima. In addition to cherry blossoms, you can enjoy different seasonal flowers including plum trees, azalea, and blue flagan iris.

Hiroshima Castle was built by Terumoto Mori, a Daimyo who fuled a large potion of the Cugoku region. The original Building was destroyed by the atomic bomb attack, however, the exterior appearance of the castle tower was reconstructed in 1958. The reconstructed castle tower houses a historical museum featuring exhibits on Samurai culture. You can enjoy nearly 1,900 cherry blossom trees bloom in the spring, and the adjacent Chuo Koen is a popular cherry blossom viewing spot.

Due to its similarity to the shape of Mount Fuji, it is also called “Ogon Fuji.” It is also known as the location of Niho Castle and other historically significant events.
About 480 cherry blossom trees line the hiking path to the summit, making it a beautiful site in the spring. Additionally, Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima, surrounded by the archipelago of Seto Insland Sea, is also visible from here. It is one of the famous spots in the prefecture for a beautiful view at night.

About 19 minutes on a higy-speed ferry from the pier in front of the hotel + 6 minutes on bus.
The former Naval Academy is currently used as a school for candidates for executive positions or 1st service school for the Maritime Self Defense Forces. A part of the facility is open to pulic, and has information on the fomer Imperial Navy. You can enjoy rows of cherry blossom trees at Shindoyama, which used to be a gathering place for the military students.

A historically significant spot known to have been created by Taira no Kiyomori in 1 day by inviting the sunset back. You can enjoy a beautiful pairing of cehrry blossoms and azalea with “Shinku no Ondo Ohashi.”
