After check-in, enjoy a welcome drink and sweets in the expansive Japanese garden, now lush with fresh spring greenery.
Choose from craft beer or Shizuoka-grown matcha to start your journey at a leisurely pace.

5:30 P.M.: Dinner (Matsu Course) at the restaurant

8:00 P.M.: Enjoy Izu-Nagaoka Onsen
Relax in Izu-Nagaoka Onsen.
Enjoy the large communal baths and the private, free-flowing hot spring baths in your room.

Spend a serene spring evening at your leisure.

*A bath towel is worn for the purpose of photography.

8:00 A.M.: Breakfast of steamed rice cooked in a traditional pot served at the restaurant

10:30 A.M.: Tea picking experience at Kuraya Narusawa

Dressed in tea-picking attire, immerse yourself in the refreshing spring air as you pick tea leaves.
While tea-picking, enjoy views of the two World Heritage sites: the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnaces and Mt. Fuji, for a truly extraordinary experience. Take home a souvenir package including an original hand towel worn around the head during tea picking, green tea produced by Kuraya Narusawa, and the freshly picked tea leaves.

Tea picking time: 10:30 A.M. or 1:30 P.M. (Experience lasts approximately 1 hour)

• For Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, an 11:30 A.M. session is also available.

Schedule
Reception → Change into tea-picking attire → Tea-picking experience → Change back → Tea tasting

Kuraya Narusawa: 272-1 Naka, Izunokuni-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture

• Tea-picking experience is scheduled for the day following your stay.
• Mt. Fuji may not be visible depending on weather conditions.
• No transportation is provided to Kuraya Narusawa.
• The tea field is not shaded. Please take precautions against heat and UV exposure.
• In case of rain, the tea-picking experience will be held in a plastic greenhouse or under a tent set up in the tea field.
