Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill

On the south-east outskirts of Sapporo, Hitsujigaoka (Sheep Hill) is a peaceful place where sheep graze. From the lookout point where the statue of Dr. Clark stands, you can see over the city of Sapporo and the vast Ishikari Plain.

  • Using local buses, From in front of Sapporo Station, take the Hokkaido Chuo bus for Hitsujigaoka Tembodai and get off at Hitsujigaoka Tembodai.
