Asakusa

Asakusa, a vibrant area with an old Edo charm, is a must-visit in Tokyo. Begin at Kaminarimon Gate and stroll through Nakamise shopping street to Sensoji Temple, also known as Asakusa Kannon, a spiritual hub for centuries. Asakusa hosts colorful events year-round, including the lively Sanja Festival in May, the Houzukiichi market, the Asakusa Samba Carnival, and the Tokyo Jidai Matsuri Festival, making it a cultural hotspot for tourists.

Direction: Take the JR Keiyo Line from Shiomi Station to Hatchobori Station. Change to the Hibiya Line and travel to Ningyocho Station, then change to the Asakusa Line and get off at Asakusa Station (approx. 35 min.)
