The Prince Karuizawa to be reopened on December 21st (Saturday), 2024

The Prince Karuizawa will gradually reopen its lobby, restaurants, and some guest rooms, while maintaining its architectural harmony with nature and relaxed atmosphere, based on the concept of “providing a space where people can talk with each other.
In addition, a new lounge and fitness center will be opened.

We hope you will enjoy a relaxing holiday where you can do nothing but relax in your room while appreciating the spectacular views of Karuizawa’s nature and Mount Asama.

[ Renewal ] Room

Some of the rooms on floors 1 to 3, a total of 65 rooms, will be renewed in stages on each floor.
Picture windows with a view of Mount Asama beyond the open landscape of the golf course will be utilised, and daybeds will be newly installed near the windows to create a more open and relaxing space.

Scheduled to open in stages from April 10th (Thursday), to mid-July 2025.

[ Newly built ] 3F Guest Lounge (1498.3sq.ft.)

A new lounge will be established exclusively for customers on certain floors.
The exclusive lounge will offer drinks and snacks.

[ Renewal ] Restaurant

“Dining Room Beausejour” will be redesigned with carpets and sofa covers so that guests can spend a more elegant time.
In addition, we will reprint the popular menu “Beef fillet and foie gras with Rossini-style sauce truffle”, which has been passed down from successive chefs since the opening, and offer a renewal commemorative French course as a main dish.

[ Newly built ] Fitness Room (867.5ft²)

A new fitness center will be built directly connected to the first floor exterior corridor.
